Freshmen Leah Dunn Contributes double double in loss against FSCJ

On Tuesday evening, IRSC women's basketball program traveled to Florida State College of Jacksonville to play in a non-conference matchup. Throughout the game the river showed heart, effort and the will to compete for 40 minutes. Although the river, came up short their making strides in the right direction.

Freshmen Leah Dunn had a breakout scoring night with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Coach Robinson noted that "it was good to see Leah hard work pay off, due to injuries she's been our rim protector in the paint. I am looking forward to continuing seeing Leah improve."

Sophomore shooting guard Angelica Flores contributed 15 points and 5 rebounds.

The River is back in action this weekend at Palm Beach State Holiday Tournament. The River plays at 5pm on Saturday against top ranked Florida Southwestern and 2pm on Sunday against Baltimore Community College.
