IRSC Women’s Basketball falls short at home

Indian River State College women's basketball program lost a heartfelt battle against the College of Central Florida 63-46 on Tuesday evening. The river has been making the effort to compete on both ends of the floor, Coach Robinson mentioned how "even though we came up short we faught hard on both ends of the floor and as a coach that's all you can ask for. Over Thanksgiving break we will rest and be ready to compete for the reminder of the season."

Sophomore forward Kierra Patrick scored another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore shooting guard Angelica Flores contributed 13 points and Kiandra Hooks added 13 points as well with 5 rebounds.

The River will be back in action Monday November 26th at home against top ranked Saint Petersburg College at 5:30pm.
