Assistant Coach Joe DellaRocca has a more than a decade of coaching experience at the college, high school and travel ball levels. As a Head Coach his teams have won multiple district and regional titles; including two FHSAA State Final Four appearances. He was twice named Sun Sentinel All Area & Palm Beach Conference “Coach of the Year” while serving as the Head Coach at WT Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens.

Coach DellaRocca’ s primary role is overseeing and implementing the team’s offensive game plan.  Known for his aggressive coaching style, IRSC led the nation stealing 268 bases during the 2023 season, and improved in every offensive category over the previous season

Coach DellaRocca serving as an assistant with Indian River from (2004-2006) was part of the 2006 NFCA Southern Region Coaching Staff of the Year. During this time Indian River won over 150 games including three Southern Conference, two NJCAA Region 8A Championships, two FSCAA State Championships, two 3rd place finishes and a 2005 runner-up finish at the NJCAA World Series.

Coach DellaRocca founded (2007) Crossfire Softball, an independent and faith-based showcase travel program, with player participation and representation from several counties throughout South Florida. Crossfire continues to prepare college prospects and has assisted over 50 student-athletes in gaining scholarship assistance to a wide range of colleges and universities throughout the country. Prior to, he was a long-time coach for the Gold Coast Hurricanes organization and has collectively been part of several top 20 finishes at ASA and Premier National Championship Tournaments.

Coach DellaRocca played competitive travel softball; and has officiated both slow and fast pitch for over 20 years. He continues to work softball camps as a skills instructor throughout the southeast. Coach DellaRocca also works as a private instructor providing defense and hitting instruction with additional focus on the 'short game'.

Coach DellaRocca attended Lynn University and is owner-operator of his family's waste management business in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. He also organizes and assists with community outreach and Christian fellowship groups, and currently resides in Port St. Lucie.
