Indian River State College Softball dropped both games of a double-header to FSW in Ft. Myers Sunday afternoon. IRSC lost game one 4-0 and game two 10-1.
In the opening game sophomore pitcher Liz Gollin tossed a complete game allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits and struck out six.
Adriana Otero, Juhle Prange, and Brooke Mathews all had hits for IRSC.
In game two Florida Southwestern took the lead on a single in the first inning. Florida Southwestern scored five runs in the fourth inning opening up a commanding lead in the 10-1 victory over the Pioneers.
Kirsty Granville led Indian River with two hits in two at bats.
The Pioneers season record drops to 8-4. The team returns to action on Saturday in Sebring taking on South Florida State College.
