IRSC Diver Robbie Costine sets new NJCAA record

Indian River State College male diver, Robbie Costine, broke the NJCAA National Record on the Men's 3-M springboard at last night's NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championship's opening day of competition in Buffalo, New York.  Costine is a sophomore at Indian River and has signed an athletic scholarship with the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  His score of 623.65 broke the previous record held by Indian River athlete, Michael Wright, who went on to dive at the University of Tennessee and have accolades including:  USA Diving National Champion, NCAA Champion, Southeastern Conference Champion, and he is an NJCAA Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame inductee.
