Woodard Named to FCSAA All-State Team

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Indian River State College (IRSC) sophomore Jayshayne Woodard was named to the All-FSCAA/All-Region VIII team on Tuesday, March 12th. This marks the second time Woodard has received such an honor after being named to the team during his freshman campaign for the River as well as being named Region Player of the Year during the 2022–23 season.

"Jay has been a very special player here at IRSC. He has a chance to be a two-time All-American, which is an incredible honor. He's been the heart and soul of our team and the best player for the last two seasons and he has led us to incredible success. But more than all of that, he is truly a high character person who is a joy to be around and to coach. I'm so proud of Jay as a person and all of the accolades he is receiving because of it," said Head Coach Bill Morosco. 

The All-FSCAA/All-Region VIII team is comprised of the top 12 vote receivers out of all 14 Division I teams in the state of Florida, as determined by the Men's Basketball Committee after input from all 14 FCSAA D1 Men's Basketball coaches.
