Men's Basketball Sweeps HCC

Indian River Men's Basketball earned their 23rd win of the season in a 105-98 victory over Hillsborough. The Pioneers jumped out to a 17-point lead at halftime behind their shooting and pressure defense. Hillsborough made some runs in the second half, but the Pioneers never gave up the lead and found a way to close the game out with a 7 point win. Indian River was led by freshman Jayshayne Woodard who scored a team high 23 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. The Pioneers had six players score in double figures on the night. Jyre Mccloud scored 15 points and 5 rebounds, Antoine Jacks scored 13 points with 7 assists, Pablo Tamba scored 12 points with 5 rebounds, Deng Majak and Ocypher Owens each scored 10 points. Hillsborough was led by Georden Rogers who scored a game high 27 points.
