Men's Basketball Winning Streak Extended

Indian River Men's Basketball won their 6th straight game on the road at Miami Dade. It was a slow start for the Pioneers as they found themselves down early, but they were able to go into halftime with a one-point lead. The second half was all IRSC led by their defense forcing turnovers which led to easy baskets. The Pioneers were led by Sophomore Ocypher Owens who scored a game high 22 points and 6 rebounds. Jayshayne Woodard recorded his 17th double-double of the season scoring 16 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Antoine Jacks scored 10 points and dished out 8 assists, while Pablo Tamba scored 14 for the Pioneers. Miami Dade was led by Tyriek Weeks who scored a team high 18 points. Coach Morosco's thoughts on the game "Miami Dade is a great team and they jumped on us early. I thought our guys did a great job keeping their composure and staying the course for 40 minutes tonight. It was a hard fought game and a big road win tonight."
