Men's Basketball Defeats Mid Florida Academy

Indian River Men's Basketball won their 5^th straight in dominating fashion vs Mid-Florida Academy. The Pioneers forced 37 turnovers and shot 65.5% from the field. Sophomore Ocypher Owens led the way for the Pioneers with 25 points and 7 rebounds shooting 10-12 from the field. Freshman Mostapha El Moutaouakkil had a big game scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds shooting 10-11 from the field. Other Pioneer standouts were Jayshayne Woodard, scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds, Jabari Williams scoring 12 points and 6 rebounds, Johaun Myles scoring 11 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Coach Morosco's thoughts on the game "Mid-Florida Academy has some talented players, our guys did a good job staying focused and playing Pioneer basketball for 40 minutes and we were able to win today because of it."
