Pioneers Top ASA 116-84

It was another balanced offensive attack for the Indian River State College men's basketball team as they past the century mark for the tenth time this season.

All twelve members of the team scored with six Pioneers scoring in double figures.  ASA jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the game, but that was the last time IRSC would be behind on the scoreboard.  They closed the first half with a 57-29 lead and raised the margin to as many as 47 point in the second half before defeating ASA 116-84.  High scorers for the game were; Deontae Weaver with 22 points, followed by Cedric Jackson 17, Kimani Binder 16, Anthony Brown 14, Shaq Rombley and Jihadu Brunner-Brown both added 10 points. 

The Pioneers moved their win total to 19-6 and 6-1 in the Southern Conference.  On Februray 10th IRSC will travel to Broward College in Fort Lauderdale for a key conference match up.  Tip-off is set for 12 noon.
