Indian River State College Pioneers Clinches Lead in Seventh Inning for Victory Over Miami Dade

Indian River State College Pioneers snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Miami Dade on Friday.  The game was tied at four with Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Marte induced MJ Restivo to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored

Indian River State College Pioneers was boosted by Romeo Sanabria who went 4-for-5 at the plate.  Sanabria singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and doubled in the sixth.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity tied things up at four when Sanabria doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Hunter Parris led things off on the pitcher's mound for Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity. The lefthander lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out two and walking one.

 

In the Second matchup the Pioneers was defeated 7 - 1. Daniel Hernandez went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Indian River State College Pioneers in hits.  Indian River State College Pioneers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Chase Sanguetti had the most chances in the field with 11.
