Indian River State College Pioneers Holds On to Defeat Hillsborough

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Chase Sanguetti homered on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity put up four runs in the fourth inning.  Troy Hamilton, Sanguetti, and Romeo Sanabria all drove in runs in the frame.

Chase Romaine led the Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity to victory on the pitcher's mound. The righthander lasted four and a third innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four.  Ethan Kramer and Miguel Peralta entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
