Carter Chancey Collects Four Hits to Lead Indian River Past Broward College 10-8

Carter Chancey would not be denied at the plate on Thursday, picking up four hits and leading Indian River to a 10-8 win over Broward College in Ft. Pierce. Chancey singled in the third, singled in the fifth, singled in the seventh, and singled in the eighth.

Indian River put up four runs in the seventh inning. The offensive firepower by the Pioneers was led by Paul Benetez-Diaz, Diego Arroyo, and Brutcher, all driving in runs in the inning.

Pitcher Darien Rorabeck led the Indian River to victory on the mound. He allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, walking one. Joseph Clement threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.


The Pioneers travel to Broward on Saturday to complete the three game series with the Seahawks.
