The River fell short in game 4 to Eastern Florida by a score of 8-0. IRSC managed 8 hits in the 7 inning game, but could not push across a run. Eight different hitters added one hit a piece for The River, with Michael Stovman adding the lone extra base hit on the day with a double.
Justin Alintoff started on the mound for IRSC. Alintoff lasted 2 innings and was hurt by an extensive rain delay in his outing where he received the loss. Jack Durkin, Eli Finney, and Travis Perry all worked out of the bullpen for The River. Perry was very good out of the pen as he tossed 3 innings, allowing only 1 run and striking out 6.
IRSC will be back in action on Wednesday against Palm Beach State College.
