In the final game of the series The River lost a tight one to Broward 5-4 in the 4-game series.  The Pioneers battled the whole way through and added 2 late runs in the 6th inning of the 7-inning game, but it was not enough to earn the victory on Saturday.  Paul Benitez did his part by driving in 2 RBI's for the offense.  Axel Salgado smacked 2 hits in a 2-3 day at the plate, and Danny Camilo added his team leading 3rd triple of the year.

Niels Stone received the start in the final game against Broward for The River.  Stone threw 2.1 innings and dealt with some unfortunate luck as he allowed 2 runs that were both unearned.  Christian O'Kelly and Travis Perry also contributed on the mound, with Perry taking the loss.  Jack Durkin finished the final 1.1 innings of the game where he struck out 1 and didn't allow any runs.
