Palm Beach Completes the Sweep Against IRSC

Palm Beach Completes the Sweep Against IRSC

The River's rough patch of baseball against Palm Beach State continued on Saturday as they lost 6-0.  IRSC led up 5 runs in the first 2 innings of the game on Saturday afternoon and it was too much to come back from.  Danny Camilo continued to swing a hot stick as he contributed with 2 hits on the day as well as a stolen base.  AJ Hrica also added in an opposite field double to add to his line.

Niels Stone toed the rubber for IRSC in the game.  Stone found himself in some unlucky situations at the beginning of the game that he couldn't quite climb out of.  Stone lasted 1.1 innings allowing 5 runs and only 2 of those runs were earned.  Tyler Lavery threw 2 innings in relief allowing only 1 hit and 1 run.  Tyler Suellentrop was impressive out of the pen, blanking Palm Beach State for 3.2 innings while striking out 3.  Eli Finney also threw 1 shutout inning.
