It was a tough day for IRSC on Thursday against Palm Beach State College. Palm Beach took advantage of some Pioneer mistakes and were extremely tough on the mound in the 10-0 loss. The River managed 4 hits as a club. AJ Hrica led the way going 2-3 in the game, while Paul Benitez and Carter Chancey both added 1 hit apiece.
Nikolas Bitner was the starting pitcher for the Pioneers. Bitner took the lost as he lasted 3 innings and gave up 5 earned runs. Jarred Morgan threw 2 innings in relief allowing 1 run.
