Early Deficit Proves Too Much

In Wednesday's series finale with Eastern Florida the Pioneers couldn't seem to get going. Eastern Florida scored 10 runs through the first four innings and put the game out of reach. The bullpen for the Pioneers held them there but the deficit proved too large for the River offense as the score remained the same the rest of the way.

The 10-0 victory was the series clincher for the Eastern Florida Titans as they win the season series over the Pioneers 4-3. The final two games on Indian River's schedule are with Broward College. The Pioneers look to win the series with the Seahawks and pull into fourth place before seasons end.

Friday's game will be at Broward College at 5pm followed by the season finale at home Saturday at 1pm.
