River Falls to Dade

River Falls to Dade

Indian River took on Miami-Dade at home Tuesday afternoon on the front end of a back to back with the Sharks.

Game 1 went to the Sharks 5-1 as the Pioneers had some miscues along the way. Starting Pitcher George Helbig falls to 0-4 despite his team best 2.86 era. Helbig pitched 7+ innings allowing just one earned run but the bats just could not get anything going in this one.

Nick Snyder was the Pioneers only offensive stand out going 2-3 with a double that lead to the only run of the ballgame for Indian River.

The Pioneers look to take game two of the series Wednesday at 3pm in Miami with starter Brando Centrone on the hill. Centrone will be making his 4th start of the season and first against the Sharks.
